Meet the Founder.

"I spent years building a career nobody could explain to me."

I have spent almost two decades working across the building and construction industry in roles including design, selections, prestart, client liaison, contracts administration, project management, documentation, team leadership and business ownership.

 

I did not begin with a clear map of where those roles could take me. I learned by stepping into opportunities, building new skills and gradually understanding how the many parts of the industry connect.

​

That journey has taken me from working quietly behind the build to founding three businesses, training industry professionals, advocating for non-trade careers and being recognised through Australia Business Elites’ 40 Under 40 in 2024 and the HIA Excellence in Service Award in 2025.

 

In the same year, I was nominated to be a mentor for HIA’s Women in Building Mentorship Pilot—an opportunity that confirmed how much I wanted to use my experience to make someone else’s path clearer.

​Prebuild Careers is the guidance, industry context and honest mentorship I wish existed when I was started my own career in construction.
