"Knowledge that stays locked inside industry circles serves no one"

Hosted by Bame Norwebb Mukuria, the Prebuild Careers Podcast opens up the conversations non-trade professionals in construction are often left to navigate privately. Through unfiltered stories and interviews with people across the industry, we explore career pathways, progression and the realities of building a meaningful career behind the build.

Why this podcast exists.

There are so many valuable roles across construction that are rarely explained clearly. People often enter the industry by accident, learn through trial and error and only discover the full range of opportunities years later. This podcast is here to make those conversations visible sooner.

We also talk honestly about ambition, confidence, family, wellbeing, workplace culture and the pressure of trying to grow within an industry that does not always recognise the full value of its non-trade professionals.

The podcast is the free, open-access side of Prebuild Careers. Extending the mentorship beyond the programs and making real industry insight easier to access.
